Missouri’s top ad sales award dubs Deanna Moore ‘Old Pro'

Posted

Veteran advertising executive Deanna Moore, publisher of the Buffalo Reflex and four additional southwest Missouri newspapers, was honored the evening of April 18 with the 2024 Dee Hamilton Memorial Sales Pro Award.

Namesake of the late advertising manager of the Buffalo Reflex, the annual award given by the Missouri Press Advertising & Marketing Executives (MPAME) association recognizes exemplary sales performance, integrity and leadership for no less than 10 years.

Moore was an advertising representative and manager at the Bolivar Herald-Free Press for two decades before being named by Harrison, Arkansas-based Phillips Media Group LLC as publisher of the Bolivar Herald-Free Press, Buffalo Reflex, Cedar County Republican, Christian County Headliner and Marshfield Mail. She previously worked in sales at the Springfield News-Leader.

On hand to present Moore the “Old Pro” award at the MPAME spring meeting in the Branson Landing Hilton Promenade hotel were Dee Hamilton’s husband Jim, former editor-publisher of the Reflex, and daughter Melissa Saner, as well as Jim Holland, president of Phillips Media.

Also recognized at the MPAME meeting were Best Ad Contest winners for 2024.
